Daniel V. Fanelli, a lifelong resident of Putnam Lake, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at home. He was 29.

Daniel was born February 28, 1983 in White Plains, New York, the son of Vincent F. and Catherine (King) Fanelli. He graduated from Brewster High School in 2002.

Daniel worked at A&P grocery store in Brewster as a clerk. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and a volunteer at the Putnam Humane Society as he loved animals. He was an avid Yankees fan, loved traveling, wrestling, fishing and video games. Daniel was always the practical joker and everyone’s friend.

In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by his brother Vincent D. Fanelli and his wife Rosa of Patterson, NY; his sister Kelly- Ann Fanelli of Patterson, NY; his paternal grandmother, Santa Fanelli of West Harrison, NY; his maternal grandmother, Rhoda King of White Plains, NY and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 27, 2012 10:30am at Sacred Heart Church, Patterson, NY (Putnam Lake). Interment following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, White Plains, NY. Visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson, NY. www.dwyerfuneralhome.com
