Joan F. Myers, 82, died peacefully at her home in Whaley Lake, Holmes, NY on Saturday December 20, 2014 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 17, 1932, daughter of John and Florence (Broadley) McInerney. On November 13, 1949 she married William H. Myers, who passed away September 16, 1989.

Joan was an avid stamp collector, seamstress and knitter. She made many handmade items for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joan worked as a CAN at Putnam Nursing and Rehabilitation center from 1980 to 2002.

Joan is survived by her son Robert Myers, and three daughters, Joanne Barrett, Susan Donohue and her husband Gary, and Lorraine Little. 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Joan was pre-deceased by her two sons, Willy Myers and Louis Myers, her daughter, Joan Myers, and a grandson, William Barrett III.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 11:00am at St. Denis Cemetery, Hopewell Jct, NY.
