Maria Gregory, of Poughquag, NY, died February 7, 2015 at Westchester Medical Center after a valiant 2 year battle against leukemia. She was 54 years old.

She was born March 14, 1960 in Orlando, FL, daughter to the late Joseph and Rosemarie (DiVito) Wanderlingh. She graduated from Westchester Community College with an associate’s Degree.

On July 19, 2008 Maria married Peter Gregory in Beekman, NY. In March they would be celebrating 10 years together, which was not enough time.

Maria worked in many positions for A&P Supermarkets, for almost 30 years. The last one being Floral Manager in the A&P in Patterson.

She is not only survived by her husband and mother but her two daughters; Andie Moravec and fiancé Scott Starr and Nikki Moravec, as well as her two siblings Joseph and wife Phyllis Wanderlingh and Helen and husband Paul Leuzzi.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Denis Church, Beekman, NY. Interment will be private. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 10, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson.
