Nadler,Bert, of Patterson, NY, died Sunday May 10, 2015 at Putnam Hospital Center with his loving family by his side. He was 80 years old.

Bert was born on October 16, 1934 in Montreal Canada, son to Abraham and Sara (Lenetsky) Nadler. Bert grew up living on Elder Avenue in the Bronx. He was a warehouse manager at Bond Stores in Manhattan, NY.

On April 23, 1966 he married Jenny Taracido, they had two daughters Jennifer and Stacy.

Bert absolutely loved to golf, it was a great passion of his. He also enjoyed flight simulator in which he clocked so many hours he could have been a pilot. He enjoyed the challenge of the flight simulation and although he crashed many many times he never gave up.

He was a devout Yankee fan and generally watched a game with a pet or two by his side for some love.

Bert is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, his daughters; Jennifer Nadler (with Robert Foster) of Oakland, CA and Stacy Nadler (with Paul Risley) of Patterson, NY, his granddaughter Addison Simone Risley and his sister Rosalie Waknin (with Alby Waknin) and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at 11:00 at Pinelawn Cemetery in Long Island, NY. Dwyer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
