Joan B. Hahn, affectionately known as “Noni”, passed away on February 14, 2016, at the Putnam Hospital Center.
She was 74 years old.

Joan is survived by a daughter Laurie and her son John P. White IV of Holmes, New York. She is also survived by two other grandchildren, Alexandra and Jake Colbert. She is predeceased by her husband John, and daughter Sandra Colbert. She is also survived by sisters: Sarah, Ruthie and Carol. A brother Lester predeceased her.

Noni was born December 3, 1941, in Mahopac, New York to parents Fred and Nancy Johnson of Holmes, New York
She attended Carmel High School, and later worked as a secretary for Union Carbide Corporation in Danbury, CT.

In 1961, Joan married John C. Hahn in Holmes, NY and lived in Carmel, NY where they raised their family. Noni was a long time member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Lung Association.

On Saturday, February 20, a Memorial Service will be held at 11 o’clock at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Carmel, New York. Dwyer Funeral Home assisted the family with their arrangements.
