Barbara B. Piazza, age 91, of Pawling, NY, died peacefully on Friday June 9, 2017 at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home, Brewster, NY.

Mrs. Piazza was born March 16, 1926 in Tuckahoe, NY, daughter of Henry and Mary (Carton) Brundage. She was a graduate of Tuckahoe High School.

Barbara married the love of her life Frank J. Piazza on July 2, 1950 in Tuckahoe, NY. Frank predeceased his wife on December 6, 2008.

She was a member of St. Johns Church in Pawling, NY. Barbara was also an avid Giants fan and enjoyed volunteering at Green Chimney. Her greatest passion in life was her family and grandchildren which was evident when you looked around her home at all the pictures.

Mrs. Piazza is survived by six children, four daughters, Amy Johnson of Durango, CO, Janis Ruud of Pawling, NY, Carol Agostino of Norwalk, CT, and Lois Carrier of Mohnton, PA; two sons, Frank J. Piazza Jr. of Nyack, NY and James Piazza of Pawling, NY, her 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday June 15, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Johns Church in Pawling, NY. A private cremation will follow. Friends may call at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson on Wednesday from 4-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905
