Patrick J. McCreesh, of Pembroke Pines, FL, died peacefully on February 22, 2018 at Memorial Regional Hospital. He was 83 years old.
Born on July 14, 1934 in New York City, NY son of the late Patrick and Rose (McCormill) McCreesh. Patrick graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School, Bronx, NY and honorably served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a police officer for over 20 years with the NYPD before retiring in the late 1970's.
Mr. McCreesh is survived by his children; Diana Pryor of Baton Rouge, LA, Patrick McCreesh of Westfield, NJ, Thomas McCreesh of Long Beach, NY and Andrew McCreesh of Shoreham, NY, his 4 grandchildren; Charles Pryor, Veronica Pryor, Shannon McCreesh and Connor McCreesh, his 2 great grandchildren; Jude and Gavin Deville and his siblings; Rose Cusack, Eileen Marry, Cathleen Radtke and Raymond McCreesh. Patrick was predeceased by his sister Mary Holder.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at 1pm at Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson, NY. Interment will follow at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11am-1pm.
