George C. Griffeth, 62, of Pawling, NY passed away on April 14, 2011. Born on October 27, 1948 in Poughkeepsie, NY to Bernice and Leon Griffeth. He is survived by his wife Patricia, of Pawling, daughter Theresa Griffeth of Wingdale, son George Griffeth of Pawling, and son Thomas MacDougall of Pawling. Three grandsons: Brody, Jayden, and Shane. He is also survived by a brother, Richard Griffeth of Pawling, and a sister, Mary Lu Adams, of Virginia. He also has several nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011 10:00am at Central Baptist Church of Pawling. Interment following at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson. Friends may call at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Ryan McElroy foundation.
