Obituary for Julia Carpentier (Costanzo)

Julie Carpentier passed away at age 100 on November 22, 2011 at Danbury Hospital. Julia was born on January 20, 2011 to the late Pasqual and Maria (Davinso) Costanzo in New York, NY. She married the love of her life Anthony Carpentier in New Jersey, who predeceased her in 1983. Julia lived in New Fairfield, CT. for the last fifty years and was a parishioner of St. Edwards the Confessor Church in New Fairfield. She was retired from the Reader’s Digest. But Most of all she will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends.
Julia is survived by her two loving children , Her son Anthony and his wife Karen of Stuart, FL. Her daughter Catherine Lawrence of Fishkill, NY. as well as four sisters, Margaret Poosikian, Ann Pistono, Annette Giracello, Fran Paladino. Her cherished 8 grandchildren, Gwenn Mead and husband Gary of MA, Bruce Lawrence and his wife Shawna of CO, Cindy LaCour and her husband Steven of New Fairfield, Susan Lawrence of CO. Arthur Carpentier and his wife Robin of TN, Steven Carpentier and his wife Mary of TX, Christine Barry and her husband Richard of TX and Thomas Carpentier and his wife Kristin of TX. Julia is also survived by her 11 Great-grandchildren and 6 Great- Great - grandchildren which were her angels.
A mass of christian burial will be celebrated Monday November 28, 2011 at 11 AM at St. Edward's the Confessor Church in New Fairfield, CT. Interment will follow at the Maple Ave. Cemetery in Patterson, NY. The family may recieve friends at the Dwyer Funeral Home 23 South Street, Patterson, NY 12563. She will be greatly missed.
