Robert D. ‘Bob’ Cristello, age 77, of Pawling, NY, formerly of Patterson, NY, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in Danbury, CT.

Bob was born in Dobbs Ferry, NY to Dominick and Catherine (Conolonga) Cristello.

On July 18, 1957 Bob married Joan Short in White Plains, NY. Mrs. Cristello died January 5, 2007.

Bob was Owner and Operator of County Chimney Service in Hawthorne, NY for 30 years, retiring in 1996. After retirement, Bob was a starter and club house attendant for the Quaker Hill Country Club in Pawling, NY. In the early years he had tended bar at The Colonial Tavern in Hawthorne.

Bob and Joan spent many winters in Barefoot Bay, FL after his retirement. After having lived in Patterson, NY for 35 years, they moved to Pawling in 1997.

Bob was an avid golfer. He enjoyed his time as a fisherman too, but his true love was golf. His choice of vocations through the years afforded him the opportunity to socialize with friends, something he took great enjoyment in. Bob was also a member of the Patterson Fire Department for 47 years.

Bob is survived by his two daughters, Cathy Badia and her husband Dom and Joni Eberly and her husband Kevin, both of Pawling, NY; two sons Jim Cristello and his wife Julie of Tifton, GA and Alan Cristello and his wife Joan of North Fort Meyer, FL; a brother, Joseph of Florida and a sister Katherine of Georgia. Also 6 grandchildren, Jimmy Cristello Jr., Nick Cristello, Bud and Julie Cristello, Joe and Susan Cristello, Matthew and Alex Badia, Kevin Eberly and Kelly and David Mayle; ten great grandchildren, Jordan Marie Cristello, Robert Cristello, Angela and Carly Cristello, Joey, Kaely, Sarah, and Camryn Cristello, Colton and Weston Mayle. He was pre-deceased by his grandson Michael Cristello on February 29th of this year.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 1:00pm at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 22 Coulter Ave., Pawling, NY. A private cremation will follow. Friends may call at the
