Obituary for Charles David "Charlie" Hyatt

Hyatt, Charles David, age 54, of Holmes, New York, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Hyatt was born January 29, 1959 in Mahopac, New York to Ella (Daley) Hyatt of Patterson, NY and the late Albert M. Hyatt.

Mr. Hyatt married Madeline Petersen on September 8, 1984 at Sacred Heart Church in Putnam Lake, NY.

Mr. Hyatt was owner and operator of Hyatt's Pump Service Inc., of Holmes, NY since 1981 but has been involved with water well service all his life, having first worked as a young boy for his fathers well drilling business.

Mr. Hyatt had lived in Holmes since 1984 having lived in Patterson as a young boy. He enjoyed singing and listening to country music, hunting and fishing, old cars, and drag racing. He was a member of the Brewster BPO ELKS Lodge #2101. It was his family that brought him his greatest joy.

Besides his mother Ella, and his wife Madeline of 29 years, he is survived by three sons, David C. Hyatt of Bayside Queens, NY, Richard A. Hyatt and Joseph T. Hyatt, both of Holmes, NY; his three brothers, Milton and Jeff Hyatt, both of Patterson and Rex Hyatt of Holmes.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 11:00 AM. A private cremation will follow. Friends may call at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson, NY 12563.
