Buzzutto, Lucy A., of Patterson, NY, died Tuesday February 11, 2014 at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home. She was 84 years old.

Lucy was born on June 22, 1929 in White Plains, NY, daughter to the late Dominic & Sheila (Kerwin) Altamuro. She attended White Plains High School. In 1967 Mrs. Buzzutto moved to Patterson, NY.

Lucy met the love of her life Howard Buzzutto in 1948 and the two Married in 1950.

Lucy had a passion for taking care of her family that extended beyond outings and Sunday night dinners. She had a knack for making you feel like family Her heart and home were always open no matter who you were. She enjoyed the company of pets, NY mets games, and bowling leagues with her husband.

In addition to her loving husband Howard she is survived by her daughter; Kathleen and her husband Richard Rapp of Brewster, NY, 3 grandchildren; Keith Sposato, Duane Buzzutto and Cody Rapp, 2 great grandchildren; Joseph Sposato and Angelina Rapp, and her brother Joseph Altamuro of Peekskill, NY. She was predeceased by her daughter Sheila Buzzutto in 2004.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 17, 2014 from 4PM-8PM at Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. John’s the Evangelist Church, Pawling, NY. Burial will follow at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson, NY.
She was one of a kind and will be deeply missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to meet her.
